DBIM: Fables: Animal Farm

I'm too tired for a full post tonight.  Schmoozing takes a lot out of me.

Severity: 1
Genre: Book
Date: 2003
Description: A hawk kills Cock Robin and eats him as he is trying to escape a coup.
Mitigating Factors: A lot of other animals are killed in gruesome ways.
Aggravating Factors: None.

What exactly does your 'severity' ranking mean? I looked at the DBIM posts since October and every single one lists 'severity' as 1. I would assume 'severity' talks about how horrible the death was (aka torture is worse than a gunshot which is worse than accidental death), but if that were the case, why would all of these be a '1' severity?

Yeah, most of them rank a 1. Severity is the number of birds who die in the movie/show/whatever. There are some exceptions (The Prisoner of Azkaban movie ranks 2 and Ice Age ranks infinite). However, most movies just use the burping feather joke once.
